She has also led various fundraising events with school parent teacher associations and charities.

‘Developing Mosaic has been challenging and exciting. As the charity grows, the rewards grow and the success can be shared by everyone who has given their time and support’.

Margaret is married to David and has two children, Sarah and Tim and two stepsons, Robert and Simon. She enjoys reading, photography, decorating and spending time at their house in France.

We have a team of qualified practitioners and support workers who are experienced in working with children and young people.

Jo lives with her partner of 9 years, Richard and their daughter Rebecca who is 19 months old. Jo started working for Mosaic in March 2011.

Jo is a qualified Humanistic Counsellor and previously worked with Connexions in Medway, Kent. During her time with Connexions Jo worked with young people who were experiencing a vast range of personal and family difficulties including bereavement. Before becoming a counsellor Jo was a youth trainer and worked with young people with academic, social and behavioural problems. She also has a range of experience in business, public relations and marketing as well as events organizing.

We are pleased that Jo is part of the Mosaic team.

Katie Hensman
Administrator

Katie is our Administrator and supports us in the office, organising conferences, study days and helping with the day to day administration of the charity. She comes from a background in training administration and event management.

Katie and her husband Tom live near Sherborne and have two children Charlie and Daisy.

Katie is always looking for way in which we can increase donations and funding and comes to our Residential weekends and is a great member of the team.

Rose

Prior to her retirement at the end of 2006 Rose worked as a staff nurse at Forest Holme, Palliative Care Unit in Poole, where she was part of a nursing team caring for people with cancer and supporting bereaved adults and children.

Rose became a volunteer for Mosaic in 2007 and is always involved in fundraising events, constantly making craft items and cards to sell and running stalls.

Rose develops creative activities, and organises all the resources for the residential weekends. Rose gives an enormous amount of her time to Mosaic and is a major part of the team – we are very grateful to her.

Apart from crafting and card making, she keeps busy sketching and painting. Rose is also a member of the Poole Leisure Painters and the Canford Heath Art Society and has exhibited paintings at several local art exhibitions. She also enjoys gardening, sewing and spending time with her granddaughters.
